Try this five-ingredients beer bread

You only need 5 ingredient for this no-knead bread

INGREDIENTS

3 cups (450g) flour

1 Tbsp (15ml) baking powder

¼ cup (50g) sugar

1 can (440ml) beer

½ cup (125g) butter, melted

Softened butter, for serving (optional)

METHOD

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Line a 25cm x 10cm loaf tin with baking paper.

Combine flour, baking powder and sugar in a large bowl.

Add beer and melted butter.

Whisk until smooth and well combined.

Pour batter into loaf tin and smooth out the top.

Bake for 1 hour, or until an inserted skewer comes out clean.

Cool in loaf tin for about 15 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.

Slice bread into thick slices and serve with softened butter, if you like.
