Gauteng SAPS members bestowed with medals for 10, 20, 30 and 40 years’ loyal and faithful service respectively in Norwood

Today, Lt Gen Mawela led a Medal Parade at Paterson Park in Norwood to award members of the SAPS in Gauteng with loyal and faithful service medals.

SAPS members in Gauteng will be bestowed with medals for 10, 20, 30 and 40 years’ loyal and faithful service respectively.

Lt Gen Mawela was joined by Gauteng MEC for Community Safety, Ms Faith Mazibuko, Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Policing, Major General Tommy Mthombeni, Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Crime Detection, Major General Mbuso Khumalo and Deputy Provincial for Support Services, Major General Patricia Rampota on this prestigious occasion.

Also in attendance are the five District Commissioners (Ekurhuleni, Johannesburg, Sedibeng, Tshwane and West Rand). Other senior management of SAPS and law enforcement agencies, and various distinguished delegates.
