One killed in a head-on collision on the M4 Ruth First Highway near Broadway

One person succumbed to her injuries yesterday afternoon following a crash where a Toyota Fortuner is believed to have lost control and knocked into the red Renault Clio head-on.

The collision occurred on the M4 Ruth First Highway near Broadway. The female was severely entrapped in the wreckage and Medics from various services responded together with the fire dept and other emergency teams to assist.

The female was rushed rapidly to a nearby medical facility where doctors were in readiness to take the patient into the theater for immediate medical procedures. Sadly the female succumbed to her injuries after doctors and Medics’ best efforts to keep her alive.
