Police seize 600 grams of drugs and arrest three suspects in Alberton
The efforts of the police in Gauteng to fight crime and also deal with drug related crimes produced positive results as the members seized drugs weighing approximately 600 gram, an undisclosed amount of money and arrested three suspects.
The arrests were as a result of an intelligence driven operation which was conducted at Alberton area on the morning of 31 January.
The house identified was searched and an undisclosed amount of money in a form of notes and coins was recovered together with machine that count money, and drugs suspected to be crystal meth weighing about 600 gram.
Three suspects, one a woman were arrested and are expected to appear before Alberton Magistrates’ Court soon on charges of possession of drugs and possession of suspected stolen money.
The Management of the SAPS in Gauteng applaud the team for their swift response and dedication in ensuring that drugs are removed from the streets of Gauteng and suspects are arrested.
